Hello everyone… my grandparents live in Rishikesh. A few days back I went to meet them. When I came
back from there, I wrote two poems, which I am sharing with you… Viramya Mishra, Dehradun
“I’M A LUCKY WANDERER”
I’m a lucky wanderer,
lying in the midst of
Smokey mountains.
I’m a lucky wanderer,
as these spring trees are prasing
my efforts.
I’m a lucky wanderer,
as these roads are carrying away
my stressful burdens.
I’m a lucky wanderer,
as this cold breeze
is lowering my unpleasurable levels.
I’m a lucky wanderer,
as my feet are experiencing the serenity
of iced like Ganges.
I’m a lucky wanderer
just wandering
around the lanes of Rishikesh! 🙃
O my wonderous nature
O my wonderous nature,
how come you fold yourself so soon.
Listen to my appeal,
to carry it till the moon.
My hands are freezed
and mouth is like a dragon,
Wondering what changed so soon,
not even competing the speed of a wagon!
Your mistful breeze
often leaves me starstruck,
but today
you showed your natural gestural luck.
Today’s dew is very discrete,
it’s feeling
like an ocean side fleet.
And so I’ve abandoned
my most awful site,
To just get up
and face the brightest light!
